PROFILE

Dr Gaia Grant (PhD) is passionate about transformation through innovation. As researcher and lecturer on innovation leadership and culture with the University of Sydney Business School, Gaia has created the unique Innovative Change Leader (iCLi) profile tool, along with Dynamic Polar Positioning (DPoP) strategic planning model and has authored of a number of books in the area.

Gaia has also been an executive director of Tirian International Consulting for 30+ years, and has vast experience in supporting executive strategic development with a range of global organisations from Fortune 500 companies through to NFPs. In this role Gaia has been involved in helping to create a culture of innovation at top companies worldwide, and through her company she has been involved in introducing future-solutions thinking at Google’s headquarters in the US; designing a workshop on sustainable solutions for emerging markets at Nestlé in Switzerland; preparing teams for the future of the hospitality industry at the Four Seasons Hotels in Canada; and creating compelling marketing ideas for Disney in Hong Kong.

Gaia has featured in the Wall St Journal, Fast Company, BBC, SKY and ABC TV along with commercial channels, and she has presented at a number of high-profile events, including for World Presidents Organisation global event, Salesforce Asia Pacific roadshow, Optus nationwide, and Unwired international. Gaia’s publications have included her latest book ‘Purpose-Driven Innovation Leadership’, along with ‘The Innovation Race: How to change a culture to change the game’, and international bestseller ‘Who Killed Creativity?… And how can we get it back?’
