PROFILE

Amy Vetter, CPA, CGMA, RYT500, CSP, and CEO of The B³ Method Institute, is a distinguished leader known for her transformative approach to integrating business strategy with personal fulfillment. With over 25 years of experience across finance, technology, and corporate leadership, Amy has consistently driven impactful change in diverse industries.

Amy’s journey began in the finance sector, where she quickly rose to prominence as a CPA, earning her credentials as a CGMA and securing leadership roles in firms like KPMG and Ryder Systems. However, her career trajectory took a unique turn as she recognized the importance of aligning work with personal values and well-being. This realization led her to explore holistic practices, eventually becoming a certified yoga instructor (RYT500) and a Certified Speaking Professional (CSP).

As the CEO of The B³ Method Institute, Amy developed The B³ Method®—Business + Balance = Bliss—an innovative framework that empowers professionals to create work-life harmony. This method goes beyond traditional work-life balance models by promoting a seamless integration of business goals with personal fulfillment. Amy’s approach has resonated across industries, from finance and SaaS to corporate governance and beyond.

Amy’s leadership and expertise have been instrumental in driving growth and transformation in multiple organizations. At XERO, she served as the Chief Relationship Officer and Head of Accounting, where she led global teams, developed an innovation roadmap, and expanded the company’s footprint in the Americas. Her work at Intuit as the leader of the Intacct Accounting Program was equally impactful, where she achieved revenue objectives and received the President’s Award for her contributions.

Beyond her corporate achievements, Amy is a prolific keynote speaker, author, podcast host, and workshop leader. Her ability to connect with audiences on a deep, personal level is a testament to her authentic and holistic approach to leadership.

Amy Vetter’s latest book, Disconnect to Connect: Tap Into the Power Within You to Create the Life You Desire, explores breaking generational patterns and unlocking personal potential through self-reflection and mindfulness. Her previous works include Business, Balance & Bliss, which introduces the B³ Method® for achieving work-life harmony, and Integrative Advisory Services, a guide for accounting professionals to become strategic, valued advisors in the age of automation. Amy’s TEDx Talk, “Disconnect to Connect,” further amplifies her message of authentic living and work-life harmony.

Through her podcast, Breaking Beliefs, Amy challenges her audiences to push past their preconceived beliefs and start a transformative path forward. Amy’s speaking engagements often draw from her personal journey, inspiring professionals to align their work with their purpose and achieve sustainable success.

Amy also serves on corporate boards, providing valuable insights into governance, financial management, and strategic planning. Her board roles include positions with Analytix Solutions and advisory roles with companies like Digital Shadows and Logikcull, both of which saw significant growth under her guidance.

Amy’s contributions to the industry are widely recognized, earning her multiple awards, including seven times as one of the Top 25 Most Powerful Women in Accounting (CPA Practice Advisor) and five times as one of the Top 100 Most Influential People in Accounting (Accounting Today).

Through The B³ Method Institute, Amy continues to empower individuals and organizations to thrive by fostering cultures that embrace mindfulness, purpose, and balance. Her work is a beacon for professionals seeking to navigate the complexities of modern business while maintaining a fulfilling and harmonious life.

SPEAKING TOPICS

Do you find that your work and daily life can become mechanical or routine? In this session you will uncover how to either rekindle or discover the spark you desire in your career and life. Based on Amy Vetter’s book, Business, Balance & Bliss: How the B³ Method Can Transform Your Career and Life, you will learn valuable insights and tips, backed by scientific research, on how to align your authentic self with the work you do. Expect to come away with the tools and inspiration to: create your own sense of work-life harmony®, uncover your inner talents and passions, learn to be more present and productive at work and home, and gain an understanding of how to develop the technology practices (and boundaries) to put in place to lead a more mindful, connected and fulfilled life.

We all grow up with certain beliefs—assumptions and convictions that we hold to be true—regarding concepts, events, people, and things. Sometimes these beliefs are so deeply ingrained in who we are that we never even consider questioning them. But what if these beliefs don’t actually align with who we are? Once we break free of the messages in our heads we can then start the journey to Business, Balance & Bliss and to becoming a Connected Leader. Amy Vetter, from The B³ Method Institute, will share insights to help you to uncover messages ingrained from someone else versus what you truly believe or how you want to show up in the world. Get ready to be courageous, aware, and inquisitive to get to your inner truth.

Do you find yourself distracted at work and at home? Do you fear that you are not working to your full potential with your team or as a leader because of workplace misunderstandings? Are you empathetic as a leader and seek to understand others’ perspectives? In this session, we will take a deep dive into understanding where we are off balance in our lives — both at work and home — and how this affects the experience we create with others.

Many of us can feel that we are technically up to speed in what we do; however, we are not living up to our full potential as a leader or co-worker because we lack the skills to mindfully connect with one another. Mindfulness is the practice of being fully present in the current moment and learning how to calmly observe our thoughts and feelings without judgment or action. By learning to disconnect, we can connect in a more intentional, positive way and find common ground with those we work with and care about. Through the daily practice of mindfulness, we can gain a better understanding of where we are off-balance internally so that we can show up better for those around us, be a more successful leader and feel more engaged as an employee.

In this age of technology disruption, everything is changing around us. We sometimes can feel like we don’t know where our anchor is – what will stay the same, what will change, and what we can depend on.

We can find that when implementing change in our organization, individual patterns of behavior can show up in ways that prevent the business from making progress and embracing the opportunities ahead. While we are focusing on change management in our organizations and what the future of our work will look like, we should also be spending an equal amount of time creating stronger human connections.

With time and dedication, you can learn to become a connected leader who contributes to cultivating an engaging and fulfilling work-life culture for yourself, your team and colleagues.

During this talk, Amy will take you on an emotional journey of self-reflection. You will discover more compassion for yourself and others, be more mindful as a leader, and improve how you communicate to achieve the desired outcomes together as a team.
