Jehan Casinader
PROFILE
Your audience’s brains are overloaded. They don’t need more information. They need someone to translate it.
Jehan Casinader is a personal development speaker who teaches the hardest soft skills, using epic live storytelling.
He unpacks today’s most relevant topics – including the arrival of Gen Z in the workplace, human communication in the AI era, mental health, and the future of leadership.
Born and raised in New Zealand, Jehan kicked off an ambitious TV career at just 13. He convinced a primetime news show give him a camera crew, and allow him to film his first story.
For two decades, he had a front row seat to the biggest events in New Zealand and Australia. He interviewed seven Prime Ministers – plus white supremacists, entrepreneurs, disaster heroes, pop stars, and everyone in between.
At 28, Jehan was named “Reporter of the Year” at the NZ Television Awards. But behind the scenes, he had a secret: a deep struggle with depression and suicidal thoughts. He opened up about his journey in a book called “This Is Not How It Ends: How rewriting your story can save your life” (HarperCollins).
Now a full-time speaker, Jehan has worked with over 150 organisations. Drawing on his lived experience, up-to-the minute research, and his incredible repertoire of stories, Jehan teaches the essential skills that help us to work, lead and live better.
No copy-and-paste presentations. Jehan carefully researches your team, organisation or sector, and tailors his content to support what you’re already trying to achieve.
He delivers much more than a “motivational” speech. Yes, your audience will feel uplifted and energised. But they’ll also gain new tools they can use immediately. Inspiration fades – but real skills stick.
As an MC, Jehan hosts a variety of high-profile events, including multi-day conferences, awards nights and corporate events. With a wealth of broadcasting experience, he creates magic moments on stage, and leads courageous conversations about the issues that matter.
With bases in Melbourne and Wellington, Jehan is available for events on both sides of the Tasman. Super organised and easy to work with, top clients book him year after year.
