PROFILE

Emma Windle is a nervous system regulation educator, keynote speaker and founder of The Less Stress Co. She helps high performing leaders and teams feel and perform at their best, not by pushing harder, but by understanding what is happening beneath the surface and learning how to regulate their nervous system to perform with greater clarity, focus and resilience.

In today’s “always on” workplace, how we think, communicate, make decisions and perform is directly influenced by the state of our nervous system. Emma teaches audiences how to recognise these responses, understand what is driving them and use practical physiological tools to shift state under pressure.

As the creator of the Nervous System Regulation (NSR™) Program, Emma brings science and practical application together through her Regulate. Rewire. Perform. methodology. Her approach draws on stress physiology and performance principles, including tools used by military personnel and elite athletes to manage pressure and perform when it matters most.

Emma spent 18 years in corporate accounting, experiencing first hand the demands of high pressure, always on environments. That experience, combined with her training in stress physiology through Harvard Medical School, shaped the practical approach she now brings to organisations.

Her work has been delivered across organisations including Luxury Escapes, Mars Food Australia, Queensland Police Service and TechnologyOne, helping leaders and teams manage pressure more effectively, recover faster and achieve more, without the burnout.

Emma’s keynotes and workshops are practical, engaging and immediately applicable. She teaches audiences how to recognise their stress responses in real time, shift their state under pressure and build the capacity to perform at a high level without sacrificing their wellbeing. Emma’s message is simple: calm isn’t the opposite of high performance. It’s what makes high performance sustainable.

SPEAKING TOPICS

In a world of constant demands, distraction and pressure, knowing how to regulate your nervous system separates high performers from the rest. Your nervous system state affects how you think, feel, perform, communicate and recover.

That’s why Emma makes mindfulness practical, taking it beyond meditation and into the moments that matter, like before a big meeting, during a difficult conversation or when the pressure is building.

She explains what happens in the brain and body when we become activated, then gives audiences simple tools to recognise their state, reset in real time and return to a focused, regulated state.

The result is practical nervous system training people can use immediately to perform, lead and recover better.

High performers aren’t immune to pressure but they do train for it. Pressure isn’t going away, but your response to it can be trained, which is exactly what Elite Under Pressure explores.

Emma takes the audience inside the science and strategies used by elite athletes and military personnel for years to stay focused, composed and effective when the stakes are high. She explores what happens to the brain and body under pressure, why performance can unravel when it matters most and how to stop it, and how to recover quickly between high pressure moments.

Bringing the principles of elite performance into the corporate world, this keynote gives people a practical framework for managing pressure, staying clear and performing when the room, the decision or the outcome really matters.

Feeling stressed, rushed and busy can feel like productivity, but it rarely is.

In this keynote, Emma unpacks why urgency and adrenaline create the illusion of high performance, while quietly driving the exhaustion and burnout that erode it.

Drawing on a pattern she sees again and again in her corporate workshops, she reveals something striking: when people are asked what state helps them look after themselves, sleep well and connect with others, calm and connected wins almost every time. But when asked what state makes them most productive, many defend busy and rushed instead. The result is a practical shift in how teams think about pressure, so performance no longer comes at the cost of burnout.
