PROFILE
The Hon. Arthur Sinodinos AO is one of Australia’s most distinguished public servants, parliamentarians and diplomats, with over four decades of service at the highest levels of government.
He rose from roles in Treasury and Finance to become Chief of Staff to Prime Minister John Howard (1997-2006), where he was instrumental in designing transformative economic reforms including the GST. After serving as a Senator for New South Wales (2011-2019) and holding ministerial portfolios including Assistant Treasurer and Minister for Industry, Innovation and Science, he was appointed Australia’s Ambassador to the United States (2020-2023), where he played a key role in the historic AUKUS security partnership.
He is currently Chairman of the United States Studies Centre, Chairman of the Board of Hypersonix Launch Systems, Director of Principals Funds Management, and a Senior Adviser to American Global Strategies.
