Judith Lucy is a best-selling, award winning writer, actor and stand-up comedian. She has sold out huge venues across the country, and played in theatres in big cities and small towns across the regions. Judith is rivetingly honest and utterly, achingly, funny.
In 2023 Judith plays the role of Winnie in the Melbourne Theatre Companies Production of Happy Days, by Samuel Beckett. She can also be seen in ABC TV’s Crazy Fun Park, also available on ABC iview.
Judith’s impactful podcast Overwhelmed and Living was released at the end of 2022, it directly follows on from the previous series Overwhelmed and Dying. In both series Judith reflects on some big questions like ‘Why are we here?’ and ‘Are we just completely screwed?’
Judith has performed extensively as part of a comedy duo with Denise Scott. The pair teamed up in 2017 and created the critically acclaimed, smash hit stage show Disappointments. Together they won the Melbourne Comedy Festival’s People’s Choice Award, performed a run at Soho Theatre in London’s West End and sold out shows all over Australia.
Judith is a regular on TV, appearing on ABC TV’s smash hit show The Weekly with Charlie Pickering, as a panelist on Spicks & Specks, and as a guest host on Network 10’s The Project. Her critically acclaimed stand-up show Judith Lucy Vs Men is available on Amazon Prime Video.
She is also the best-selling author of three devastatingly honest, hilarious books and has created two ABC series: Judith Lucy’s Spiritual Journey and Judith Lucy Is All Woman, were both nominated for AACTA awards. Her third book, Turns Out I’m Fine: How Not to Fall Apart was released in 2021 and is her most candid and insightful book yet, it will have your sides split, eyes wet and heart-strings pulled.
